Dave Atkin
M.D
Dave Atkin, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedist who completed an additional two-year fellowship in knee and shoulder surgery. His areas of specialization include arthroscopy, sports medicine, and joint replacement. Dr. Atkin, an avid medical volunteer, is the current President of Operation Rainbow, an organization providing free medical and surgical care to indigent children in developing countries. He has led volunteer teams from St. Luke's to the Philippines, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and the Caribbean for over a decade.

Claudio Palma
M.D
Claudio Palma, M.D. is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Fellowship trained Interventional Pain Management Specialist. He completed his anesthesiology training at University of California, Los Angeles and subsequently completed a pain management fellowship at UCLA as well. Dr. Palma practices interventional pain management with a focus on spine disorders, neuropathic pain, and cancer pain. He is skilled in numerous interventional techniques including both cervical and lumbar epidurals, transforaminal epidural injections, zygapophyseal joint injections, sacroiliac joint (SI) injections, radiofrequency rhizotomy, sympathetic nerve blocks, neurolytic procedures, spinal cord stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems. Dr. Palma is fluent in Spanish as well.

Jim Buck
PA-C, MMS
Jim Buck,PA-C, MMS, who serves as a Physican's Asssistant within SOMA Orthopedics brings more than seven years of experience in Worker's Compensation to the group. He formerly worked in the Comp Care Clinic where he provided timely treatment and delivered patients back to work while utilizing the AECOM guidelines.
He completed his undergraduate work at West Chester University in foreign language studies, his Physician Assistant training at Hahnemann University and a Master’s in Medical Science at St Francis University.
